Leon Haslam

My ambition is to become the World Superbike Champion and I think, in Alstare Suzuki, I have the right package to fight for the title. Suzuki have had a difficult few years recently, but I am confident that we will have a better season this year. The Superbike World Championship this year is going to be fantastic, for riders and fans, because there are so many top manufacturers involved and so many good racers. The old hands like Noriyuki Haga and Max Biaggi will be favourites, but there are many young guns who are not afraid of mixing it and getting good results. It’s probably going to be the toughest season in WSBK history and that makes it even more fun to be part of. I am going to grab this opportunity with both hands and am determined to fight my hardest in every lap of every race.

Sylvain Guintoli

My ambition, like my team mate and everybody else in this series, is to be the World Champion. 2009 started vey well, but then I got injured. That meant I had a bit of a lay-off and that prevented me from having a good season. I came back strongly at the end of the season and was able to get very familiar and comfortable with the Suzuki superbike. The winter tests went very well and although the Suzuki Alstare bike was different to my BSB bike I soon began to understand it and I now feel I will be able to push hard right from the start. I am very excited about this (World Superbike) challenge and it’s going to be great fun fighting with all the top guys every race weekend. I am very happy to have Leon as a team mate and we get on very well, especially as he lives not far from me in England. He has already shown how strong he is during the winter tests and having such a strong team is good for me and will make me improve.
