Since opening on September 19th 1999, the Ricardo Tormo Circuit has become the home ground for passionate Valencian racing enthusiasts. The circuit's latest technical innovations and facilities have been conceived with its functionality and innovation in mind. Its flawless design, which follows the American canon circuit, gives full visibility of the road, allowing the audience to track, from its central position all the action as it happens throughout the race. The Circuit makes up a total area of 1.5 million square metres located in the territory of Cambrillas (Cheste municipal district), just 20 km from Valencia city and 15 km from the Manises airport. Thanks to the good weather the Valencian Community enjoys all year long, the Circuit of the Comunitat Valenciana has become a necessary stop for many teams in the championship. The circuit also provides excellent facilities allowing teams to work throughout the year.
